DESCRIPTION:Postdoctoral Associate position available in the Department of Pharmaceutics in the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy to study molecular epigenetics/epigenomics mechanisms in diseases and how dietary & herbal phytochemicals epigenetically modify the chromatin\, gene expression and prevent diseases. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Education and Experience\nCandidate should have a recent Ph.D. in cancer biology\, cell/molecular biology\, or a related field. Experience in epigenetics/epigenomics and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics will be a plus. \n\n\nRequired Knowledge\, Skills\, and Abilities\nLooking for highly motivated individuals with a strong background in cancer biology\, molecular biology\, mammalian cellular/in vivo biology\, gene transcription/regulation\, and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics. The candidate must have effective communication skills and be highly motivated\, self-driven\, creative\, and interactive\, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
