SUMMARY:Research Asst. Professor
DESCRIPTION:The Research Assistant Professor of the Department of Medicine\, Division of Hematology  will have as his or her main duty\, the conduct of reliable and independent laboratory research on transcription factors as they relate to epigenetics of breast cancer and other Runx1 related diseases (e.g. MDs and AML). The successful candidate should hold a PhD and/or MD degree and have research expertise in epigenetics of breast cancer. \nThe individual’s research must have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. The person in this position will also write and submit grant proposals\, select and recommend equipment\, define duties of laboratory personnel\, supervise laboratory personnel and/or graduate students\, collect and analyze data\, and write scientific papers and abstracts. This candidate will be expected to become a member of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC). Reappointments are reviewed annually and are contingent upon performance and availability of funding. \nAll Applicants Must Apply Online
