SUMMARY:Postdoctoral Fellow
DESCRIPTION:We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Guo Laboratory at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Our research focuses on elucidating the role of stem cell pathways in breast cancer pathogenesis. These studies are built on our recent findings in normal and malignant breast stem cells (Cell Reports 18: 2825-2835\, 2017; Cell Reports 16: 3146-3156\, 2016; Cell 148: 1015-1028\, 2012; Cell 133: 704-715\, 2008). The research focus of this position will be on stem cell plasticity and epigenetic regulation of mammary stem cells and cancer stem cells. The project will use a wide range of genomics/epigenomics methods\, CRISPR genome editing\, organoid culture\, and in vivo mouse models.\nOur laboratory is part of Gottesman Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research\,\n\nDepartment of Cell Biology and Einstein Cancer Center. We are located in a state-of-the-art research building. The research will be conducted in a highly collaborative and productive environment. A successful candidate should have a strong training background in cancer biology\, stem cell biology\, and/or epigenetics. For more information\, please see the lab website – http://www.einstein.yu.edu/faculty/13006/wenjun-guo/. \nThe Albert Einstein College of Medicine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race\, color\, religion\, sex\, sexual orientation\, gender identity\, national origin\, age\, protected veteran or disabled status\, or genetic information. \n\nTO APPLY: \nInterested candidates should send the following documents to the PI\, Dr. Guo\, via email: wenjun.guo@einstein.yu.edu \n\nCV/Biosketch\nAn overview of research experience and career goal.\nContact information of three references
