Applications will be considered for tenured/tenure-track Assistant\, Associate or Full Professor. \nCenter faculty hold academic appointments in one or more of Baylor’s basic\, translational or clinical departments including Molecular & Cellular Biology\, Molecular & Human Genetics\, and Medicine. Ample opportunities exist for collaborations with faculty across the Texas Medical Center\, including U.T. MD Anderson Cancer Center\, UT Health\, Texas A&M University\, Texas Children’s Hospital\, Houston Methodist Research Institute\, University of Houston\, and Rice University. \nJob Duties:\nThe successful candidate will use innovative approaches to study important questions in cell and molecular biology and gene-environment interactions\, broadly defined. Applicants’ research programs should complement existing Center faculty strengths in environmental health\, cell and developmental biology\, genetics\, epigenetics\, cancer biology\, neurocognitive/neurodegenerative disease\, and model systems of human disease\, including vertebrate and invertebrate model organisms. The selected candidate will also be expected to advance Baylor’s strategic plan by contributing to initiatives in Population Health and Precision Medicine. \nMinimum Qualifications:\nCandidates must hold a doctoral degree (PhD\, MD\, or equivalent) with a strong record of scholarly activity.
