SUMMARY:Epigenetic Mechanisms in Health and Disease in Barcelona\, Spain
DESCRIPTION:“Epigenetic mechanisms in health and disease” is the last of a series of Barcelona Conferences on Epigenetics and Cancer (BCEC). The 2017 edition is co-organized by B·Debate\, an initiative of Biocat and “la Caixa” Foundation\, and the Molecular Biology Institute of Barcelona (IBMB-CSIC)\, together with Josep Carreras Leukemia Research Institute (IJC). The scientific program has been put together by Albert Jordan\, Ferran Azorin\, Marian Martínez-Balbas\, Jordi Bernuès and Marcus Buschbeck. \nThe aim of the BCEC 2017 is to bring together young and established scientists in an interdisciplinary forum to review the progress made in the field of epigenetics. Presentations will highlight the translation of basic research into clinical applications and discuss still unexploited fundamental insights.
