SUMMARY:Postdoctoral Fellowship - Cancer Biology & Epigenetics
DESCRIPTION:Postdoctoral Researcher positions are available in the Department of Pathology at Duke University School of Medicine. These positions are expected to start on January 2\, 2018 under the direction of Dr. Qianben Wang. The laboratory currently focuses on genome-wide transcriptional regulation in hormone-dependent cancers (Chen Z et al. EMBO Journal\, 2015; Nature Communications\, 2015; Chen K et al. Nature Genetics\, 2015; Sunkel et al. Nucleic Acids Research\, 2016). \nMultiple on-going projects include (1) DNA motif switching in prostate cancer; (2) A novel tumor suppressive role of phosphodiesterases (PDE) in prostate cancer; (3) Fine-scale nucleosome repositioning of enhancers in prostate and breast cancers; (4) Oncogenomic function of the Mediator coactivator in aggressive prostate cancer. \nApplicants must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) and preference will be given to those who have a solid background in molecular biology\, cancer biology\, biochemistry or genomics. \nTo be considered for the position\, please send a cover letter\, CV\, a summary of research accomplishments and future plans\, and contact information for three referees to qianben.wang@duke.edu with e-mail subject “postdoctoral researcher application”.
