SUMMARY:Postdoc - embryonic stem cells\, development & cancer
DESCRIPTION:The Dawlaty Laboratory at the Genetics Department and the Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Research of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is actively seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to be part of a young and energetic team studying the epigenetics of embryonic stem cells\, development and cancer as part of our newly funded projects.\nCentral theme of research: Our research focuses on understanding the epigenetic mechanisms governing the biology of pluripotent stem cells\, development and cancer with an emphasis on the role of DNA modifying enzymes. We utilize embryonic stem cells\, induced pluripotent stem cells and mice as model systems and combine bioinformatics\, cellular and molecular approaches to study how DNA modifying enzymes reshape the epigenome and regulate cell fate\, development and cancer.
