SUMMARY:Two Postdoctoral positions - Cancer and Stem Cells
DESCRIPTION:Two Postdoctoral positions for Cancer Biology (one position) and Pluripotent Stem Cell Biology (one position) in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center : New York\, United States \nOne postdoc positions will focus on the embryonic factors involved in the extra-cellular signal transduction pathway to inhibit tumor initiation and progression directly by sequestering protein-protein interactions and indirectly boosting immune activation on multiple cancer models including melanoma\, leukemia\, and neuroblastoma. \nThe other postdoc position will focus on the stem cell factors that regulate epigenetics to control pluripotency and totipotency through controlling innate immunity\, endogenous retrovirus activation\, chromatin structure\, and novel epigenetic markers. \nNo previous research experience on cancer or stem cell research is necessary. \nCandidates should have a PhD or equivalent degree in the early stage of postdoc training. \nIf interested\, please send CV and few sentence of description on the prior research experience and future research interest to StemCellResearchMSKCC(AT)gmail.com \nSloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research \nDepartment of Cancer Biology and Genetics \nCenter for Cell Engineering \nCenter for Stem Cell Biology \nhttp://www.mskcc.org/research/cancer-biology-genetics \nhttp://www.mskcc.org/research/lab/kitai-kim \nWeill Medical College of Cornell University \nDepartment of Cell and Developmental Biology \nhttp://gradschool.weill.cornell.edu/faculty/kitai-kim \nJob Type: Full-time \nRequired education: \n\nDoctorate
