SUMMARY:Postdoctoral Fellow
DESCRIPTION:The Laboratory of Cancer Biology and Genetics is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to conduct research in the Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis Section.  The research program focuses on the interplay of tumor and host in the metastatic process\, and aims to identify critical molecular mediators for therapeutic target.  The group utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach combining molecular\, biochemical\, genetic\, and cellular as well as immunology techniques to understand how the tumor microenvironment contributes to tumor metastasis. \nThe laboratory is located on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus in Bethesda\, Maryland\, which has a state-of-the-art research platform.  The candidate will have access to research facilities and outstanding stipend support. \n\n\n\n\nNumber of Positions: \n\n1\n\n\n\nC.V. Required: \n\nYes\n\n\n\nNumber of References Required: \n\n3\n\n\n\nBibliography Required: \n\nYes\n\n\n\nExperience Required: \n\n\nInterested candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. within the past five years in immunology\, genetics/epigenetics\, molecular biology\, and biochemistry. Individuals with high motivation and good logical/analytic skills are encouraged to apply.
