SUMMARY:Postdoctoral positions - pancreatic cancer
DESCRIPTION:Several postdoctoral positions are immediately available in the research laboratory of Dr. Keping Xie at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center to study the molecular mechanisms underlying pancreatic cancer development and progression. The ongoing studies in the laboratories focus on identification and functional validation of molecular determinants of pancreatic cancer. The research is fully funded by National Institutes of Health grants. Please refer to recent publications for more information (Cancer Cell. 2016\, PMID: 26977883; Gastroenterology. 2014\, PMID: 24859161). \nCandidates must have a solid publication record\, including first-authored publication(s) in respected journal and evidence of excellent skills in spoken and written English. Candidates are preferred with a PhD degree in biochemistry\, molecular biology and molecular genetics and with experience in the areas of protein modification\, transcriptional control\, protein-protein interaction\, epigenetics or genetic animal modeling. MD Anderson is the number one cancer center in the United States by the U.S. News and World Report’s “America’s Best Hospitals” survey.
