DESCRIPTION:Job Summary: \nThe University of Colorado Denver l Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow for the Ernst Lab. This full-time position is responsible for: 100 % effort to studying the role of CCDC3 factors within different forms of cancer. \nExamples of work performed: \n\nSet up mouse mating(s);\nTag/tail/genotype progeny;\nAddress any problem issues with mouse colony;\nInteract with animal facility staff;\nMaintain on-line and printed records of animals in colony;\nOrder animals for project as needed;\nUse University system to order reagents and supplies as needed;\nMaintain laboratory stocks and equipment and be responsible for coordinating repairs when needed;\nMaintain lab records of stocks;\nSupervise new trainees\, rotation students\, undergraduates in lab jobs and experimentation;\nMaintain laboratory records for experiments for publication methods and for others to repeat experiments;\nCorrespond with other investigators inside and outside of the CU system regarding collaborations;\nPerform experiments independently;\nPerform experiments with other students\, postdocs to contribute to publications and overall productivity of the group;\nMaintain accurate and current laboratory notebook including all experimental details;\nWrite-up and present experiments in small group meetings;\nTravel and present personal and laboratory projects.\n\nPLEASE NOTE: Candidates will be responsible for travel expenses related to the interview process and any relocation expenses\, if applicable. \n  \nSalary and Benefits: \nThe hiring salary for this position is $47\,484.00.
