SUMMARY:Assistant Scientist
DESCRIPTION:The Department of Psychiatry is seeking an Assistant Scientist.  The Assistant Scientist will independently perform research involving neuroscience\, cancer\, epigenetics\, and molecular biology directed by the goals of the Principle Investigator Dr. Wahlestedt\, will collect\, analyze\, and summarize data\, prepare manuscripts and grant applications\, and supervise and train students and postdoctoral fellows in the laboratory.  \n \nThe minimum requirements are: Ph.D. in Cancer biology or Neuroscience. One (1) year of post doctoral experience required.  Five (5) years of relevant post-doctoral research experience – highly preferred. Experience as a teaching assistant – highly preferred.
