For more information or to apply visit https://und.edu/finance-operations/human-resources-payroll/careers/secure/job-openings-external.cfm. \nJob Summary and Responsibilities:\nResearch interests in mechanisms of chromatin regulation and model organisms. The position is available immediately and is planned for at least three years\, with a possibility of renewal. The successful candidate is expected to apply biochemical and molecular biology techniques (molecular cloning\, Western blot\, qRT-PCR\, ChIP\, ChIP-seq\, protein purification\, protein complexes reconstitution in vitro) and microscopy to conduct the research on epigenetic regulation of development and cancer. The primary research focus of Dr. Tulin’s lab is on fundamentals of chromatin regulation and RNA fate during the normal development and in carcinogenesis\, as well as on translating the findings of fundamental biology for clinical applications in oncology. Projects in Dr. Tulin’s lab cover the molecular mechanisms of chromatin remodeling and regulation of gene expression and employ in vitro assays as well as mouse and Drosophila model organisms. \nMinimum Requirements: \n\nPh.D. in molecular biology\, molecular genetics\, biochemistry\, or a related field.\n0 to 3 years of postdoctoral research experience.\nSubmit a letter of interest specifying your career goals\, CV\, and names of at least 3 references.\nSuccessful completion of criminal history background check.\n\n\nIn compliance with federal law\, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. \nPreferred Requirements: \n\nExtensive experience in genetics\, confocal microscopy\, protein purification\, live-cell imaging\, and genomic/proteomics.
