The Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty in cancer research at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor. rank We are especially interested in candidates whose research program focuses on cancer epigenetics, cancer metabolism or redox biology. Early career candidates applying for the Assistant Professor position should have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have at least three years of postdoctoral experience in cancer biology or a relevant field, with a strong record of quality scholarly activity and clear potential to secure extramural funding for their research program. Candidates applying for appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor should be nationally or internationally recognized scholars with consistent externally funded research programs.

The Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology, in the UKY College of Medicine, has a long history of being an outstanding basic science department that interfaces closely with the Markey
Cancer Center. Positions in the department include state-of-the-art research space and facilities, strong institutional support and competitive salary and start-up packages. The Markey Cancer
Center is an NCI-designated Cancer Center on the medical campus of the University of Kentucky.
