After two highly-rated previous editions, the 3rd EACR conference on the topic of personalised medicine will update you on the latest challenges and advances in targeted and immunological cancer therapies. It will cover a broad spectrum of basic, translational and clinical research, all related to currently pressing questions relevant across cancer types.

The multidisciplinary programme will encompass developments in diagnosis and early detection, including novel bioinformatic approaches. New immuno-oncology treatments will also be presented, emphasising the role of the tumour microenvironment and showcasing systems immunology. The emergence and role of drug-tolerant tumour fractions will be discussed in the context of drug resistance. And, reflecting one of the major needs, there will be a focus on rational design of combinatorial therapies and on how advances emerging from the laboratory are clinically implemented.

The programme includes 17 plenary lectures, dedicated poster sessions and interactive elements. The small size of the conference makes it an excellent forum to share new data, and to network with colleagues and speakers.

Who should attend?

We welcome all basic, translational and clinical scientists (including postdocs and trainees), who are interested in tackling pressing cancer-relevant questions, and who want to hear the latest developments in therapies targeting cancer and immune cells. We also invite industry scientists who are interested in targets for novel therapies. This is an excellent forum for informal networking and meeting potential collaborators.
