The Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the tenure track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of cancer biology, including cancer genetics and proteomics, cancer cell biology, tumor microenvironment, cancer stem cells, metastasis, tumor immunology, chemical biology, cancer metabolism, oncogenic signal transduction pathways, genome integrity, cancer epigenetics, and cancer-related systems biology and bioinformatics. Responsibilities include establishment and maintenance of an externally funded independent research program, as well as teaching and mentoring of students. Applicants must have an Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research.
