Job Description

The Hackett Group is looking for a highly talented postdoctoral researcher to lead an exciting project on epigenetic inheritance in mammalian models.

Research in the group is focused on understanding epigenetic mechanisms of genome regulation and transgenerational epigenetic inheritance. Other streams of research cover (epi)genomics analyses of embryonic stem cells and the germline cycle, and development of epigenetic editing technologies (www.embl.it/research/unit/hackett).

Qualifications and Experience

You hold a PhD and have a proven track record in epigenomics, molecular biology and/or developmental biology, combined with a strong desire to work on fundamental research questions. Specific experience with epigenetics, mouse biology or bioinformatics would be a strong plus.

The ideal candidate has strong initiative and ability to independently drive a project forward, a desire to break new ground with their research, and is keen to work in a collaborative international environment.
