Postdoctoral positions are available immediately in the laboratories of Drs. Rong Li and Yanfen Hu in the Department of Molecular Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. We are part of an interdisciplinary translational research program that covers cancer biology, tumor microenvironment, and animal models of human diseases.

Exciting postdoctoral research projects are available in the following areas:

• Investigate the mechanism of breast tumor suppressor BRCA1 in DNA repair, and transcriptional regulation, and therapeutic resistance (Cell Cycle 14:437; Nature Communications 7:10913; Nature Communications 8:15908).

• Interrogate estrogen receptor signaling in tumor progression and antitumor immunity (Journal of Clinical Investigation 124:3378; Oncotarget 7:42585; Cancer Research 76:6964).

• Elucidate transcriptional regulation of energy metabolism in cardiac and adipose tissues (Nature Communications 4:1821; Cell Reports 7:79).

• Development of CRISPR-mediated genetic and epigenetic editing in vitro and in vivo.
