The Puri laboratory has a Postdoctoral Associate position available.  Dr. Puri’s laboratory investigates the molecular mechanism underpinning genome reprogramming during cell lineage commitment and terminal differentiation of embryonic and adult stem cells, and during induced pluripotency. The Puri lab studies how extrinsic and intrinsic cues are converted into epigenetic information that controls gene expression in embryonic and adult stem cells. The lab is especially interested in skeletal muscle progenitors, and one area of focus is how deregulated gene expression in these cells leads to development of rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS).
