Postdoctoral Research Associate

Two NIH-funded positions are available in Benevolenskaya laboratory to study the RB pathway. The laboratory is broadly interested in tumor suppressor genes and epigenetic mechanisms. Research in the lab focuses on the histone demethylase KDM5A and is aimed at better understanding of the roles played by pRB and KDM5A in cell metabolism and differentiation. The lab is using several model systems, including lung cancer and breast cancer models. Successful candidate is expected to use diverse techniques in molecular and cellular biology, including genome-wide approaches. For more information, please refer to our recent publications:

Desired skills and experience
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual with not more than 3 years after obtaining PhD degree in biological or chemical sciences. A strong publication record is also expected. Previous experience in biochemistry, molecular genetics or cancer biology is preferred.
