Research Scientist

Job description:
Conduct grant supported research into the mechanisms of action of natural products in inhibiting colon cancer through modulation of inflammation. Responsible for designing and performing experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to publication of results. This position is needed in order for important research to be completed and data compiled on a particular project that ends 2-28-19. If additional funding is not received by the faculty member to continue to support a Research Scientist after the project funds are exhausted, the position will be eliminated.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of QPCR, WESTERNS ASSAYS, CYTOKINE AND CHEMOKINE ELISAS, IMMUNOHISOCHEMISTY AND WORKING WITH RESEARCH ANIMALS.
