We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced industry scientist to join our Epigenetics Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will have a well-documented background of scientific expertise in epigenetics with a high interest in drug discovery and translational medicine. He/she will work on drug discovery projects focused on epigenetic targets. Specifically, the candidate will be expected to design, plan and execute biological studies for identifying new targets in various therapeutic areas and for profiling development compounds within the area of epigenetics.
This position requires a PhD in biology, solid understanding in Epigenetics and at least 5 years of productive research experience in epigenetics, as evidenced by an excellent publication record.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- Experience in epigenetic profiling studies (DNA methylation, RNA-sequencing, ChIP-sequencing and ATAC-sequencing) and strong knowledge in enhancer-mediated regulation of the genome.
- Experience in single cell transcriptomic and epigenetic profiling is highly desired.
- Experience in target validation, functional and biomarker cell-based assay development.
- Proficient in cell biology including shRNA and CRISPR technologies
- Highly motivated, innovative and strong team player.
- Excellent time management and organizational skill.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Prerequisites:
Ph.D. in Biology or related scientific discipline with at least 5 years of relevant epigenetics work experience, preferred.
