Hello! My name is Leonie Toorman. I am 22 years old originally from the Netherlands, but currently living in Vienna, Austria. I have always had a great interest in what makes us who we are, the effects that biology and our environment have on our lives, and what we can do to make ourselves and others feel and be better.

I pursued my interests with great passion and proudly hold a Cum Laude Bachelor’s in psychology in addition to a minor in philosophy. I am currently furthering my interests by studying neuropsychology.

I find it important to make science accessible and understandable. A better understanding of our experiences and the consequences of our own behavior can only help us lead healthier and more productive lives. I, therefore, gladly joined the cause of the Cancer Epigenetics Society by volunteering for the No To Cancer initiative and creating a space where people can seek reliable information that concern their health or that of their loved ones, while at the same time allowing them to draw their own conclusions on what it is best for them based on the latest cutting-edge science.

It would be great if you were to show us your support by liking our pages on Facebook No to Cancer and the Dutch version Nee tegen Kanker.

Thank you for reading my Bio and liking my work,

Leonie.
